Designing With Purpose: Transforming Lirio & Co.'s Market Booth
Last December, Liliana, the passionate owner of Lirio & Co., reached out to me with a vision. She wanted to transform her market booth into something that truly reflected her brand's story—a brand inspired by Peruvian heritage, natural beauty, and a commitment to bringing ancestral artistry to life. While her products already carried so much meaning and intention, her booth needed that same thoughtful touch to create a connection with her audience. I was honored to help.
After a few conversations, it was clear that this wasn’t just about aesthetics. Liliana’s dream was to create a space that not only showcased her products but also invited people into the heart of her brand’s mission. To achieve that, we started by diving into the essentials:
Understanding her story: We explored her mission, her clients, and the values that shape Lirio & Co. These insights became the foundation for every design decision.
Defining the brand’s aesthetic: We crafted a visual identity that honored Peruvian heritage while keeping the booth approachable, warm, and inviting.
From there, the work began. I created mood boards and booth layouts, ensuring every element was intentional. Whether it was the earthy tones of the display fabrics, the thoughtful arrangement of products, or the natural textures of the materials, everything came together to tell a cohesive story.
But it wasn’t just about the big picture—every detail mattered. We curated decor that felt organic and thoughtful, designed signage that reflected her brand voice, and planned the product displays to showcase her work beautifully. It wasn’t about overwhelming customers with too much; it was about creating an atmosphere that drew people in and made them feel connected to the Lirio & Co. story.
One of the most rewarding parts of this project was seeing the transformation through Liliana’s eyes. Watching her booth come to life at the market was incredibly fulfilling—not just because it looked beautiful, but because it finally felt like her. Her clients noticed too. The booth became a space that people gravitated toward, not just for the products but for the experience.
This project wasn’t just about creating a market booth; it was about showing how intentional design can elevate a small business. A booth isn’t just a place to sell products—it’s an extension of your brand, a way to communicate who you are and what you stand for in a single glance.
For small business owners like Liliana, creating an impactful market booth doesn’t have to be overwhelming. It starts with understanding your story, knowing your audience, and reflecting those values in every detail. Whether it’s through colors, textures, or the layout itself, a well-designed booth has the power to turn casual browsers into loyal customers.
Working with Liliana reminded me why I love what I do. Helping small businesses bring their stories to life—whether through a logo, packaging, or a market booth—is so much more than design. It’s about connection, authenticity, and creating something that resonates.
If you’re a small business owner dreaming of a space that feels as thoughtful and intentional as the work you do, let’s talk. Together, we can create a booth that doesn’t just stand out—it feels like home for your brand.
